A Wonderful Storm
Memories of pain in the silent rain.
An empty car
A wounded heart
Watching her tears
Wanting to be a shield
Wanting to be a sword
Silent flashes of lightning all around.
Realizing one's own shields are still torn.
Trying to let her know I'm there.
Let her know she has someone who cares. |
