Thanks for everyone who wished me a happy birthday. It was the most relaxed I'd been in a long while.

Oh yeah, and I bought a wii, and games to go with it. :P can't wait till it gets here! (Turns out when I priced out the walmart bundle, assuming you want the games and accessories, that it is an acceptable deal, they gip you on shipping costs though. I probably paid 30$ more than I needed for that.) |

So, we went to Virginia, and saw our cousins, and had an awesome time... for some reason the car ride down there was the worst car ride I had ever been on... and I don't really know why, I think it has something to do with my lack of a pillow for my neck... but I'm not sure... In any case, we had great fun with our cousins, loads of good food and a good time at Christmas... Saw Kong with Couz Thomas and co, and then later we saw The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe and that was good fun too. I haven't Posted about this past semeseter yet, because I'm still waiting on my grade for Great Books, and I thought it would be here by now. Other than that, I'm relaxing and unwinding from the stress of the past semester.
Christmas loot (no order):
- Two awesome cookbooks in the style of our little kids books (thick cardbord pages) -- A Man, A Can, A Plan and A Man, A Can, A Microwave... really easy dishes to make from a short list of ingredients, and relatively little effort.
- A Leather Jacket -- Yay!!!
- A sweater from J Crew (familial gift to all the kids)
- A cool semi-floating pen (it stands on its point inside a little holder that keeps it steady vertically by repulsing it with magnets)
- Miscellaneous assorted bounty
Now were off to see Fun with Dick and Jane.
ps. I just noticed I now am allowed 6 userpics, though in the LJ Quick update box you can't select userpics, but they recently added the option of tagging from there (didn't use to be able to do so)
